The mistake

The following mistake happened in the broker branch of Lehman Brothers bank. To the sell order of packet of stocks, amounting to 30 million Sterling, was added another one by mistake, and the order was performed for the amount of 300 million Sterling. “There probably was a blood bath in Lehman Brothers in Tuesday morning, when they understood what had happened”,- supposed a trader from an US fund about the consequences of the accident. Financial mistakes are paid for with loss of millions.
